Lefty’s Place is a small animal refuge in North East Victoria run by photographer, Tamara Kenneally.

Named after her beloved sheep named Lefty who passed away in January 2013, it is home to rescued sheep, chickens, peahens, dogs and cats from a variety of backgrounds.

The main goal of Lefty’s Place is to document each animals life from the time that they are in the farms/abbatoirs etc and through to their new and happy lives at Lefty’s Place. Tamara is commited to portraying animals as the individuals they are and providing viewers with each animal’s true self and story so they can be aware that farm animals are so much more than just a food source.

Lefty’s Place is a registered not for profit charity.

All donations go directly towards the care, food and vet bills of the permanent residents. Donations also go towards our farm rescue missions and the care and rehoming of these rescued animals. You can donate by clicking the “Donate” button below:

Hi – just direct deposited a donation on behalf of my bestie for Christmas. We agreed to donate to an animal charity each birthday and Christmas as so many animals need help and support. She chose yours for your wonderful work. So on behalf of Lee and myself, bless you for the wonderful work that you do – and Merry Christmas.
